So close but.........not

Well, we went to that part of Oklahoma, that we've come to know and fall in love with, on Sunday. We went to church and then looked at some property. Needless to say, that didn't work out. It wasn't at all what we were looking for but the view was nice. It boasted a pond and three barns. If you call a puddle in the middle of a big hole a pond and three buildings put together with pieces of RV's and above ground swimming pools barns then I guess the advertisement wasn't all false. My poor middle son, who loves to fish, was looking forward to seeing the pond. Bet there wasn't even a minnow in it. It's okay though. One day. If that's where the Lord wants us then one day He will put us there and all things will fall into place. It is funny, though, to see people's faces up here when you are asked "where do you go to church" and your answer is, "this little town", almost two hours away. Even the lady who showed us the house was shocked. When asking my hubby "do you really live in such and such and come here for church" to which hubby replied "yes" she turned him to her and said "what is wrong with you". It's the Word people. Do you not get it? It's the Truth. We've been to numerous churches around us. It would be easy to just pick one. Everyone knows how big OKC is. But if the Truth is not there how does one compromise? Our spirits agree with the Word there. We've never been to another place where the Spirit has revealed things like that. Never. Gas prices have us tied to home more and more for now but we are going to try to go more. Hey, you never know when a place may come up for sale and it's just the right fit and the Lord put everything in place at the right time. His time.
